In light of the recent decisions to cancel international travel, the suspension of national sports events and the closure of Maryland schools, The Board of Directors of The Manor Conservancy has made the difficult decision to cancel the Calcutta Party on April 10. While the situation may be different next month or even tomorrow we considered the risks and benefits to the community and to The Manor Conservancy and the choice was clear – public health and safety come first.
If you have already purchased tickets you may choose to recharacterize your purchase as a tax-deductible donation to The Manor Conservancy, or we will be happy to issue a refund.
We have begun discussing holding a fundraiser later this year in lieu of the Calcutta and will notify you as information becomes available.
